Mirai Traffic School is a California DMV-licensed online Traffic Violator School designed especially for Japanese-speaking drivers. Our course helps you meet court or DMV requirements to keep points off your driving record.

Yes. Mirai Traffic School is licensed by the California DMV, license E0756. A DMV license does not mean the DMV endorses the school.

We offer separate course versions by language, so students can study in the language they selected at enrollment.

You may take traffic school if your court or the DMV has authorized you and you have a valid driver's license.

The course is self-paced and includes the required final exam.

You have 90 days from the date of purchase to complete the course. Your court sets its own deadline, which is often shorter — check the date on your courtesy notice.

Yes. You must pass the final exam with a 70% or higher.

You get two attempts as permitted by DMV regulations.

The DMV requires identity verification during the course. You will confirm your date of birth, answer periodic security questions, and maintain consistent login behavior.

No. Using automation, AI, or external assistance is considered fraud and may result in account termination.

Your online-course certificate is issued when you pass. Automatic court and DMV submissions run daily at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM Pacific time. Your completion is queued for the next batch. We email your submission confirmation after the DMV returns a receipt. Court acceptance may take longer.

Yes. A PDF copy is emailed and stored in your account.

If required by your court, we handle the submission on your behalf.

Contact support; we can verify submission and resend if necessary.

We accept all major credit/debit cards via Stripe.

Refunds are available only if you have not started the final exam. No refunds after the exam has started or a certificate has been issued.

Almost everyone completes the course online — it is faster and available immediately. We also run occasional in-person classroom sessions when enough students in one area request the same date. Joining a classroom date costs nothing up front and does not reserve a seat: we confirm or cancel by email about 72 hours before the class. If the class does not run, you pay nothing and can finish online the same day.

Classroom dates, when scheduled, appear on the course page together with the venue address. If no date is listed, only the online course is currently available.
