Every ticket goes to the Traffic Division at the Del Norte County Courthouse, 450 H Street, in Crescent City. Tickets from the CHP's Crescent City Area and the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office land in this same court. When the court allows traffic school, you pay its non-refundable traffic school fee and the bail by the due date, and the court extends your case for the course and for your certificate to reach it. The court sets the fee and the date, and your courtesy notice shows what you owe.

The court does not process courtesy notices right away, so yours may arrive close to your due date. Without one, you must still act by that date, or the court may add a fee. If your notice says you must appear, call the court to set a date and check in at the Traffic Division clerk's office before the court session. The court grants no extensions on those tickets.

Two separate payments. The court charges a non-refundable traffic school fee on top of your bail, and your courtesy notice shows the amount. Mirai Traffic School's course is $24.99, paid to us. If paying the court is hard, you can ask it to consider your ability to pay.

Pay the court's traffic school fee and the bail by the due date on your courtesy notice. The court's online ability-to-pay tool is not for traffic school, so do not use it to ask.

The court sets the date. Once you pay, it extends your case for the course and for your certificate to reach it. Making sure the court receives your proof of completion is your job, so finish early and check with the clerk at (707) 464-8115.

The court decides, not Mirai Traffic School. It must be a moving violation, speeding no more than 25 miles per hour over, with no traffic school in the 18 months between violation dates. The court rules out alcohol or drug violations, tank vehicle violations, unresolved failures to appear and serious violations in a commercial vehicle.
