Court code
Your DMV court code
The DMV gives each California traffic court a five-digit code, and your completion travels to the court under it. The courthouse named on your citation and courtesy notice decides which code is yours.
Madera County Superior Court hears traffic at one full-service courthouse, 200 South G Street in Madera, which handles all case types. Its adult traffic code is 20100, the code the court's CTSI handout prints. The Juvenile Division in the same building has its own code, 20230.
Before the final exam, Mirai Traffic School asks you to confirm your court and its code. For an adult traffic ticket in Madera County, choose 20100.

Traffic infractions and misdemeanors through the Traffic Division, in a full-service courthouse that handles all case types
Pin 1 on the map, at 200 South G Street in downtown Madera. The court's Traffic Division handles most traffic infraction and misdemeanor cases here under code 20100, and it answers at (559) 416-5555. Felony traffic cases go to the Main Courthouse in Madera, whose line is (559) 416-5599. Parking tickets never reach the court, because the ticket itself carries the payment information.
Court's page for this building
Older code lists carry more Madera entries, among them Borden and Sierra at Bass Lake. The court names no other building for traffic today, so every adult ticket goes to South G Street.

Your case
Find your case, then ask for traffic school
Finding your case
The court's online services page links its Public Portal, which searches case data from the court's case management system. When you call the Traffic Division at (559) 416-5555, have your case number, the court name and your due date ready. The court's traffic page also links a check that shows whether the court has received your traffic school certificate.
How to ask for traffic school
The court's traffic page lists who may attend and explains how to ask. If you qualify, send the full bail and the traffic school fee together. The court's traffic page shows the current fee, and the court does not refund it.
If you want traffic school but cannot pay the full amount because of financial hardship, schedule an arraignment and ask the court to consider your ability to pay. The traffic school you choose is a private company and charges its own tuition on top of what the court collects.

From citation to certificate in Madera County
What Madera County Superior Court does with your ticket, step by step:
- 1
You receive a citation
Most traffic infractions and misdemeanors in Madera County go to the court's Traffic Division. Keep your citation, and note your case number and due date, which the court asks for when you call.
- 2
You check the court's rules
Madera lets you attend if you hold a valid license and the offense did not happen within 18 months of an earlier violation you took traffic school for. The violation cannot carry more than one point under Vehicle Code 12810, or one and a half under 12810.5, relate to alcohol or drugs, or be a tank vehicle violation under 22406.5.
- 3
You ask the court
Before the due date on your notice, send the bail and the traffic school fee together, as the court's traffic page describes. The court counts your time to finish from the postmark on that request.
- 4
You finish a licensed course
The court sets how long you have, and your due date shows it. The court's traffic page says home study programs require identity verification, and Mirai Traffic School checks yours during the course. Mirai Traffic School is licensed by the DMV as E0756 and costs $24.99.
- 5
The court receives your completion
Schools report completions to the court electronically, and the court holds you responsible for the certificate reaching it by your due date. If you do not finish in time, the court forfeits the fees and bail, closes the case and reports a conviction to the DMV.
