Your case
Find your case, then ask for traffic school
Finding your case
The court mails a courtesy notice to the address on your citation. It carries the court case number, the bail amount, the due date, how to clear a fix-it violation and whether you are eligible for traffic school.
If the address on your citation is wrong or you have moved, call (209) 533-5671 with the new one before the notice goes out. Once a notice has gone to a wrong address, the court cannot mail a second one, and not receiving it does not excuse a missed due date. The court's traffic page is the place to start online, and it links the court's payments page in English and Spanish.
How to ask for traffic school
The courtesy notice shows your first eligibility for traffic school and lists how Tuolumne County Superior Court takes the request. One way is to return the options part of the notice with the traffic school box marked, your signature and the amount due for traffic school, by the date due. You can also ask the Traffic Division by phone or in person, and the court's traffic page shows the administrative fee.
The court's address for mail is Superior Court, 12855 Justice Center Drive, Sonora, CA 95370. Add a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want printed traffic school listings back. A fix-it violation needs the signed-off citation itself, so that request goes by mail or in person.
