Rohnert Park Traffic School

The Census Bureau estimates 44,811 people in Rohnert Park on July 1, 2025. US 101 runs through the city, and Caltrans operates the signal at the freeway ramps on Commerce Boulevard North. The city's Public Works crews look after the other signals and 83 miles of streets, along with just over 12 miles of paved paths for bicycles and people on foot.

Tickets in Rohnert Park come from two agencies. The city's traffic management system lets engineers watch and run intersections from the office, and it records every signal change. Many intersections on Rohnert Park Expressway and Golf Course Drive are coordinated, so during commute hours drivers on those streets get a string of green lights. Video detection at most intersections picks up cars, golf carts and bicycles. Where a flashing yellow arrow is posted, yield to oncoming vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians before you turn left. Public Safety also reminds drivers to merge into the bicycle lane before a right turn, and some bike lanes are painted bright green so they are easier to see.

Its traffic information line is (707) 521-6680. No website shows Sonoma traffic cases, because the court keeps case information off the internet. The court decides whether you get traffic school, and the Reminder Notice it mails lists the bail, the due date and whether your citation qualifies. If it does, you first pay the court the total due with traffic school, which includes a court administrative fee, and the court then mails your traffic school forms. Mirai Traffic School charges its $24.99 separately. Sonoma's rules are a valid license, no traffic school within 18 months of this violation, counted violation date to violation date, speed no more than 25 mph over the limit, and no commercial vehicle.

Mirai Traffic School reports your completion to the DMV electronically, and the court retrieves it from there. Finish before the court's due date. A course left unfinished by then costs you the bail, and the court reports a conviction to the DMV.
