Court code
Your DMV court code
Every California traffic court has a five-digit DMV court code. It matches your completion to your case at the right court. Your citation and courtesy notice name the courthouse, and the code belongs to that courthouse.
Solano County Superior Court uses two codes for adult traffic. Code 48430 is the Hall of Justice in Fairfield, and code 48480 is the Solano Justice Building in Vallejo. The Law and Justice Center in Fairfield calls traffic arraignments but has no code of its own on the DMV list, so ask the Fairfield traffic clerk which code your case carries. Juvenile citations carry code 48200.
Before the final exam, Mirai Traffic School asks you to confirm your court and its code. Choose the courthouse your notice names, not the one nearest your home.

Your case
Find your case, then ask for traffic school
Finding your case
Your citation and your courtesy notice carry the case or citation number, and the notice names the courthouse. Those two papers answer most questions about where your case is and what the court expects.
For anything they do not answer, call the traffic clerk for the building on your notice: Fairfield at (707) 207-7360 or Vallejo at (707) 561-7860. The court's traffic page is the place to start online, and it links the court's own case search.
How to ask for traffic school
Your courtesy notice lists the ways Solano County Superior Court lets you ask for traffic school, and the court's traffic page explains each one. Ask before the due date on your notice and pay what the court charges when you ask. The court refuses a request that comes late or without full payment, and it will not take one afterward.
If your citation also has a fix-it violation, the court needs the proof of correction, signed off by an officer, together with your traffic school request. For a missing proof of insurance, send the insurance document itself, valid on the date of the citation.

From citation to certificate in Solano County
What Solano County Superior Court does with your ticket, step by step:
- 1
You receive a citation
The ticket names the court and a due date. The court later sends a courtesy notice by mail, but the date on the citation holds either way.
- 2
You check the court's rules
Solano asks for a valid license, no traffic school in the 18 months before, counted violation date to violation date, nothing outstanding for failure to appear or failure to pay, a moving infraction with no drug or alcohol charge, and no more than 25 mph over the limit.
- 3
You ask the court
Before the due date, ask the court for traffic school the way your courtesy notice describes, and pay what the court charges. The court refuses a request made late or without full payment.
- 4
You finish a licensed course
The court sets how long you have to finish, and your courtesy notice shows the date. Mirai Traffic School is licensed by the DMV as E0756, costs $24.99, and saves your place whenever you stop.
- 5
The court retrieves your completion
After you pass, the court retrieves your electronic completion. Once it has the completion and full payment, it reports the violation to the DMV as a confidential conviction, which keeps the point off your record.
